Ignis Solar Project in Aragon: A Sustainable Energy Initiative
Ignis is advancing with the development of the Avejaruco Solar field in Aragon. The project has obtained all the necessary permits to ensure quality and proper integration in the area. The location was carefully chosen to be close to the electricity evacuation point, eliminating the need for a high-voltage power line.
In terms of environmental impact, the project will reduce the need for infrastructure and will share evacuation infrastructures with other renewable energy developers, improving efficiency and reducing environmental and landscape impact. This strategic decision was made after a detailed study of the area.
From a labor perspective, Avejaruco Solar will create around 200 jobs during the construction phase and around ten jobs for operation and maintenance, with a preference for local residents. In terms of revenue, Ignis estimates that the project will contribute significantly to the local economy.
The company predicts an increase in taxes for the municipality, with an initial one million euros during construction and an annual revenue of 140,000 euros during the operational phase. This will result in approximately 5.7 million euros over the plant’s lifespan, not including landowner revenues.
Ignis, a company founded by energy sector professionals in 2015, has expanded its operations to include renewable energy projects. With an impressive portfolio of operational and upcoming projects, Ignis is making a mark in the global energy sector.
